Catherine “Cathi” S. Prince, 78, of Bossier City, Louisiana quietly passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2024, after a lengthy illness. She was born in Amarillo, Texas on September 18, 1945.
Cathi was a retired employee of American Electric Power (AEP) where she was an IT manager and career coach. In retirement, she was very active as a volunteer at Broken Arrow Neighbors, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and The Clarehouse Board in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
As a lifelong Episcopalian, she served various parishes as a lay Eucharist minister, lay reader, vestry member, and chair of The Daughters of The King (DOK), St. Dunstan’s, Tulsa.
Cathi was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Mary Skaggs. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, John W. Prince; and her children, Amy P. Walker and John O. Prince; three grandchildren, Christian Walker and wife, Britney, John Cody Walker, and wife, Kelcie and Brian O. Walker, all of Bossier City, Louisiana. In addition, she had four great-grandchildren, Eli, Conner, Beaux, and Avery.
