BOSSIER CITY – A memorial service for Charles Francis Lafferty, 79, will be 3:30 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City, LA. Officiating will be Pastor Alan Pittman of Life Journey Church. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
Charles was born February 21, 1935 to Bill and Mildred Lafferty in Scipio, IN and died March 12, 2014 in Shreveport, LA. He retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Master Sergeant. He loved hunting, fishing and was an avid sports fan; but most of all he was a loving father, grandfather and friend.
His parents; wife, Patricia and brother, Bob Lafferty precede him in death.
Charles is survived by his sons, Farley Lafferty and wife Denyse, Vincent Lafferty; daughter, Shawn Metts and husband Paul; stepdaughters, Susette Shingleton and Gregg Campbell, Diane Swofford and husband Curt; three sisters; one brother; grandchildren, Erica Gault and husband Casey, David LePari, Evan Metts; great grandchildren, Emersen and Cooper Gault and special friends, Jerry and Mike.
