Cheer competiton benefts Shriners

As part of the graduation requirements of the Bossier Parish School System, Natalie Jones, a senior at Airline High School, is organizing a cheer competition for her senior project.

The PROJECT CHEER COMPETITION will be held on Saturday, November 2 in the gymnasium of Greenacres Middle School at noon.

Admission for the event is $5; children five and under are free. Proceeds from the event will benefit Shriners Hospitals for Children of Shreveport.

PROJECT CHEER COMPETITION will feature grade school and middle school categories, plus Most Spirited and Best Jumps categories. The fee to participate is $25 per squad. Cheer coaches and/or parents can contact Natalie Jones at 318.560.8846 for details on how to participate.
