The public is invited to a special day of tribute and family fun in honor of our area Police, Firefighters, First Responders and Military, “Respect Those Who Protect,” 10 a.m. to 4 p.m on Saturday, Nov. 19 at Chevyland, 7500 Youree Dr.

There will be food venders, “Respect Those Who Protect” T-shirts for sale, door prizes, jump houses for the kids and live music from the Backseat Boogie Band.

A Custom AR-15 Rifle, valued at over $2,600 is being donated by Shreveport Tactical to be raffled off. Tickets are $20 each and will be sold at the event or in advance at Shreveport Tactical.

Proceeds and donations will benefit the programs of Crime Stoppers of Caddo and Bossier Parish.

According to Chevyland General Sales Manager Bubba Winningham, “We want to do something to show our appreciation for the service and sacrifice these local heroes provide every day that helps make our lives better and safer.” Chevyland will provide a free lunch and event T-Shirt to Police, Fire, First Responders and Military (with ID). Special sale prices on all vehicles will also be given to members of these groups.
