Civic organization honors Bossier City officer

A Bossier City police officer has been recognized by a local civic organization for his outstanding service.

Officer James Wiggins was honored by the Bossier Knights of Columbus at its 2017 4th Degree Patriots Award Banquet on Monday evening. Officer Wiggins was presented with the organization’s 2017 Patriot Award as Bossier City Police Officer of the Year for “continuous, unselfish dedication to the residents of Bossier City.”

Officer Wiggins is a three year law enforcement veteran and has served with the Bossier City Police Department for the past year and a half. He is assigned to the BCPD’s Patrol Division and is also a member of the department’s motor vehicle crash investigation team.
