BOSSIER CITY – A memorial service to celebrate the life of CMSgt. Coburn David Yohn, USAF, Ret. beloved Husband, Father and Grandfather will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 8, 2013, at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home.

Coburn was born January 20, 1926, in Gunn City, MO and passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2013 at the age of 87. He retired after 27 years of faithful service to his country as a gunner and Chief Master Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force and was employed with LA Downs for the past thirty years.

Coburn is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Carol Yohn; brother, Leslie Yohn; sister, June Callahan and sister, Corinne Stephenson. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 60 years, Peggy Thompson Yohn of Bossier City, LA; sons, Jeffery D. Yohn and wife Tiffany of Kingwood, TX and William L. Yohn of Sidney, NE; daughter, Alissa Yates and husband Tom of Shreveport, LA; sister, Lynn McGovern of Kansas City, MO; seven grandchildren, David, Billy, Kevin, Lexie and Zac Yohn, of Kingwood, TX, and Zoe and Moselle Yohn of Sidney, NE; and six great-grandchildren.
