College baseball: Anderson pitches BPCC past Mountain View

Wes Anderson allowed just two hits and struck out 10 in six innings to help the Bossier Parish Community College Cavaliers defeat Mountain View College 7-2 on Thursday in Dallas.

Seven Cavaliers accounted for BPCC’s 10 hits. Stephen Zayas went 3-for-4. Cole Frost had a two-run home run. Willie Ward went 2-for-3.

Brent Holcombe didn’t allow a run in three innings of relief.

BPCC (7-7) returns to action Sunday with games against St. Louis Community College and Baton Rouge Community College in Baton Rouge.
