The Bossier Parish Community College Cavaliers defeated Arkansas-Rich Mountain 16-9 in a non-conference game Monday afternoon at BPCC.
BPCC improved to 19-9-1.
Gavin Baird led BPCC, going 4-for-6 with two RBI. Alejandro Carzola went 3-for-6 with a triple and three RBI.
Kameron Edwards went 3-for-4. Simon Grinberg went 3-for-5 with two RBI.
Ayden Makarus had two hits, including a home run, and four RBI. Connor Crowson had two hits, including a double. Mason Hammonds had two hits and two RBI.
Miles Justin got the win. Former Haughton standout Jacob Hernandez pitched a scoreless inning. He struck out three and walked one.
BPCC resumes Region XIV play Wednesday with a 1 p.m. doubleheader at Paris Junior College.
