The Bossier Parish Community College Lady Cavs opened Region XIV play with a 72-59 victory over Coastal Bend Tuesday afternoon at BPCC.
Samarius Colquitt led BPCC with 18 points and 11 rebounds. Ashlyn Jacobs scored 12 points and had five steals.
Former Airline star Tyra Kidd and Savannah Thomas scored 10 each.
BPCC (4-3) returns to action Wednesday, Nov. 30. The Lady Cavs host San Jacinto in a conference game at 3:30 p.m.
The BPCC men (3-4) are playing in the Collin County Classic in McKinney, Texas, Friday and Saturday.
