The Bossier Parish Community College Cavaliers finished fifth in the Nicole Leman Invitational men’s cross country meet hosted by LeTourneau College last Friday in Longview, Texas.
The Cavaliers scored 127 points. Texas-Tyler, which had six runners in the top 11, won with 26.
Former Airline standout Xavier Wilson led BPCC with a 12th-place finish out of 57 competitors. He covered the 5K course in 17 minutes, 55.2 seconds. Mack Broussard of East Texas Baptist won in 16:20.29.
Bossier High product Rangel Miller was 25th in 18:53.15. Cameron Rogers, a former Parkway star, and James Perot finished 28th and 29th, respectively. Rogers ran a 19:05.59 and Perot a 19:15.09.
Austin Jacobsen, another Parkway grad, was 34th in 19:34.76.
