The Bossier Parish Community College Lady Cavs picked up two victories in the Hinds Round Robin Friday in Clinton, Miss.
BPCC defeated Holmes Community College 17-1 in the first game and Hinds 9-4 in the second.
BPCC’s Shelricka Bryant and Raina McKean both went 3-for-4 with four RBI against Holmes. McKean had two doubles and Bryant had one.
Kacey Maines had a home run, triple and three RBI. Elisa Favela went 2-for-4 with three RBI. Maylee Martinez and Kaitlin Davis had two doubles each.
Ashley Nipper got the win. The game ended after 4.5 innings because of the mercy rule.
Davis went 4-for-5 with two RBI against Hinds. Favela had three doubles. McKean, Martinez and Micah Gray had two hits apiece.
Favela got the win.
The Lady Cavs (6-2) continue play at Hinds Saturday.
