Former Benton star Hallie Saintignan helped Southern Arkansas win the school’s first outright Great American Conference championship last spring.
Saintignan and her teammates received their championship rings during a ceremony on Oct. 20.
The Lady Muleriders went 60-11 overall and 38-6 in conference play. They won the Central Region tournament and advanced to the NCAA Division II national semifinals.
Saintignan, a freshman outfielder last season, started 51 games and played in 63. She batted .278 with three doubles, one home run and 13 RBI.
Saintignan was a multi-year All-Parish selection at Benton.
