Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville Restaurant inside Margaritaville Resort Casino has closed to make room for an original dining and nightlife concept, Riverview Restaurant and Brewhouse.
The new eatery and bar will occupy the former Margaritaville Restaurant space on the west side of the complex. Riverview is a design never-before-seen in Shreveport-Bossier, combining natural elements to achieve a modern, urban industrial aesthetic. Highlights include the following:
- More than 30 beers on tap, 20 brewed in Louisiana and Texas
- Over 160 favorite and hard-to-find premium liquors
- A custom cocktail menu featuring fusion cocktails for morning and night
- An enviable selection of avant garde and classic wines
- Delectable cuisine including southern favorites, tapas, sharing plates, pizza hand-tossed and fired in the central oven, and much more
- Soaring views of Shreveport’s downtown and the Red River
Construction on Riverview began Monday, October 24. The area between Bamboo Asian Café and Jimmy’s Seafood and Steak has been closed to the public, including the Margaritaville Retail Store. The store will be temporarily located at the Event Registration Center in Margaritaville’s main entrance, adjacent to the hotel lobby. Concert ticket pick-up will now take place in front of Paradise Theater.
During construction, multiple dining alternatives are available to guests, including the World Tour Buffet, the 24-hour Banyan Tree Cafe, and Bamboo Asian Cafe. Jimmy’s Seafood and Steak is also available by reservation.
