Corleys win St. Charles Court beautification award

The St. Charles Court HOA presented its first monthly Beautification Award to John and Deborah Corley, proud owners of 218 Poydras Ave. in the St. Charles Court & St. Charles Court Village Subdivision.

John is the regional manager of Posadas Restaurants for the past 12 years, and Deborah is a retired counselor at Haughton Middle School, where she served for 15 years. They love spending their leisure time working together in their yard.

The Beautification Award is intended to encourage efforts by homeowners and residents of this growing development located on Kingston Road in North Bossier to take pride in their homes and neighborhood.

It celebrates those who do a superior job in maintaining their lawns in such a way that enhances the overall appeal of their community. All properties in St. Charles Court and St. Charles Court Village are considered for this monthly award.

A great first impression and distinction of landscaping is evident in the Corley’s home. All components of their landscaping work together in harmony creating visual appeal. A variety of plants is evident and they exhibit color, texture, and interest. The maintenance of their lawn, trees, and shrubs is impeccable, and their bulk trash containers are concealed out of sight.

John and Deborah received a Certificate of Achievement, a $50 gift certificate to Jayroe’s Hardware and Garden in Benton, and a decorative St. Charles Court Beautification Award Winner sign to display on their lawn. In the months to come, seasonal décor will also be considered when judging and selecting the winner.
