A crash Thursday resulted in the death of a Haughton man.
J.C. Marshall Jr., 67, of Haughton was killed in a single vehicle crash onon Sligo Road at Bayou Loop.
Louisiana State Police Troop Gresponded to the crash November 20, at 9:10 p.m. The preliminary investigation revealed that a 2008 Ford F-250 driven by Marshall traveling east on Sligo Road when it exited the roadway, struck a culvert, and crashed into a tree.
Marshall, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Bossier Parish Coroner.
Impairment is suspected to be a factor in this crash. A toxicology sample was obtained from Marshall and will be submitted for analysis. The crash remains under investigation.
