CVS Health Adds 11 COVID-19 Vaccine Sites in Louisiana

Starting Sunday, March 14, CVS Health will administer COVID-19 vaccines to eligible populations at 11 additional CVS Pharmacy locations across Louisiana. Appointments for the latest allocation of doses will start to become available for booking on Saturday, March 13, as stores receive shipments of vaccine. The additional retail locations add to the eight stores previously activated in the state, bringing to 19 the total number of CVS Pharmacy locations administering a vaccine in Louisiana (this total does not include the stores receiving the Johnson & Johnson vaccine).

Supply for the expanded rollout in the state is sourced directly from the Federal Retail Pharmacy Program. Participating CVS Pharmacy locations are in the following parishes: Bossier, Caddo, East Baton Rouge, Iberia, Jefferson, Lafayette, Orleans, Ouachita, Terrebonne, Vermilion, and Vernon. As more supply becomes available the company will expand to more store locations and in more Louisiana communities.
