BENTON – Graveside services for Deacon Ivey Carr Jr., 82, will be 11 a.m., Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Rose-Neath Cemetery, Bossier City. Pastor J. L. Cudjo of the New Bethel #2 B.C., officiating. Family visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday at Elizabeth B.C., 301 Old Bellevue Rd., Benton, La.

Deacon Carr entered into eternal rest on June 2, 2014 after a lengthy illness. He was a retired teacher from Charlotte Mitchell High School and Airline High School.

He is survived by his wife; Dorothy P. Carr, daughters; Shajuana Carr and Makesha Carr-Harris, grandchildren; Cameron Harris, Jordan Burks, Reginald Burks Jr., and Tyler Harris, 2 sisters, 3 brothers, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers: Earnest Harris Jr., Anthony Evans, Roland Carr, Jeffery Carr, Vada Carr and Reginald Burks Sr.
