DiamondJacks Casino & Hotel is proud to collaborate with LifeShare Blood Center to host a blood drive Saturday, April 13 at DiamondJacks Casino & Hotel. The drive will be from 12:30-6:30 p.m. in the Garnet Sapphire room. All donors will receive one free meal voucher at Legends buffet for their donation.
“Someone is fighting cancer or sickle cell, surgery patient or was an accident victim. Your blood donation could impact the life of someone you know, you will meet or your closest loved one.”
Lifeshare blood center is a non-profit organization that operates in various location of Louisiana, E. Texas and Southern Arkansas. They work to ensure that a safe blood supply is available during all times of need. They depend on volunteer donors from the community to make this possible. They are regulated and licensed by U.S food & Drug Administration and are accredited by AABB. They are also members of the American Rare Donor Program and an affiliate of National Marrow Donor Program. DiamondJacks is excited to collaborate with them for this cause.
LifeShare asks that all donors eat a good meal and drink plenty of water before their donation. Photo IDs are required at sign up, and no one under the age of 16 is allowed to donate. Those 16 years of age must have parental consent. You can sign up online at https://donor.Lifeshare.org/donor.
