A celebration of the life of Diane Marshall Jeter will be held at the Silver Star Barbeque at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 13. Diane passed away June 6 in Dallas, Texas. A 1953 graduate of Bossier High School, Diane and Ray moved to Fate, Texas from Bossier City just a few years ago. After the move, Diane lost Ray, her husband of 57 years. Diane is survived by her daughter, Shelia, and son, Mike. The celebration is dutch treat affair and the dress is casual. Silver Star is located at Highway 80 East at the intersection of I-220 bypass.
