Dixie Lorene Coyle

Celebration of life service for Dixie Lorene Coyle will be held at Central Assembly of God in Haughton, LA, on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Andy Harris will be officiating the service. The family will be receiving friends at Central Assembly of God Chapel on Friday, June 6, 2014 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Point Chapel Cemetery, in Doyline, LA.

Dixie enjoyed playing the piano, camping with her dear friend, JoAnn, working in her yard, feeding and watching the birds and squirrels, traveling the world with her brother Joe, and loved taking care of her brother Jack. She also enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles, playing basketball with her grandsons, hanging out with her granddaughters, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by: her sister Christine Reeves, her husband of 34 years Joe “Buck” Coyle, her parents Fred and “Scooter” Booth, her brothers Albert and Raymond Booth, and sister-in-law Betty Booth.

She is survived by her children: Cheryl Larkin and husband John, Garry Coyle and wife Susan, Twyla Balentine and husband Lee, grandchildren, David and Eric Larkin, Alexis Balentine Schmaltz, Kaley Balentine, Kyle Roberts and Kaden Coyle, and her brothers Joe Booth, Jack Booth, Jimmy Booth, and Ricky Reeves.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons: David Larkin, Eric Larkin, Kyle Roberts, and Kaden Coyle, her grandson-in-law Ben Schmaltz, and her “favorite” son-in-law, John Larkin

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Willis Knighton Hospice, especially Tangela and Carla, her church family, and many family and friends who have been so supportive.
