BENTON – A Celebration of life service for Donald Whittle will be held Thursday, November 7, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel. Rev. William Crider will be officiating the service. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park with military honors. The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home.

Donald was a classic car enthusiast and an avid Nascar fan. He was a very caring, giving and supportive father. All who knew him knew he gave of himself in a very unselfish manner.

He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Whittle, mother, Mary Whittle and sisters, Lilo Goodin and Anita Sturgill.

Donald is survived by his wife, Betty of 49 years; sons, Mark and wife Heather and Paul and wife Leea; five grandchildren, Chelsea, Cassidy, Max, Avery and Cole; brother, Jim and his wife Judy; sisters, Sandy and Judy and numerous family members and friends who loved him dearly.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Willis Knighton Cancer Center, Dr. Velavulu, Dr. Durcie and staff, Willis Knighton Hospice and special thanks to Julie, Stephanie, Cynthia, Carla, Dante and Cissy.
