ELM GROVE – Funeral services for Donald Wayne Jennings, 76, will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel. Interment will follow in Jones Prairie in Leggett, TX. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.
Wayne was born August 8, 1937 to Woodrow and Maggie Jennings. He passed away on August 30, 2013 in Shreveport, LA.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Kathryn Jennings; brother, Delane “Dutch” Jennings; and daughters, Lynda Jennings, and Jolynn Jennings. Left to cherish his memory is his daughters, Carole Cunningham and husband, Larry, Janice Cozine and husband, Lee, and Margaret Jennings Shirley; sons, Donny Jennings and wife, Alice, Kenny Wayne Jennings and wife, Susan, and Woody Jennings; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sister, Charlotte Davis and husband, Bobby, and Carol Hutchinson and husband, Samuel.
Honorary pallbearers will be his grandsons.
