The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning on Wednesday, August 2, 2017, the northbound outside lane of LA 3, Benton Road, will be closed at the intersection of Shed Road from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM. This work is expected to last 3 nights.
Motorists are also advised that beginning on Friday, August 4, 2017 the Southbound outside lane of LA 3, Benton Road, will be closed at the intersection of Shed Road from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This work is expected to last 5 days.
This work is associated with the installation of signal poles and foundations.
DOTD appreciates the motoring public’s patience and reminds drivers to please exercise caution when traveling through work zone areas and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking or biking near an active work zone.
