Early voting begins Saturday

All Louisianians eligible to vote in the Spring Municipal Election cycle can early vote beginning April 15 through April 22.

Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, excluding Easter Sunday, April 16.

Voters can utilize Louisiana’s award winning smartphone application, GeauxVote Mobile, to find out where to early vote as well as what’s on their ballot.

In Bossier Parish, there is one open State Representative seat in District 8. This election is a runoff between Republicans Raymond Crews and Robbie Gatti. This election is a special election held to replace U.S. Congressman Mike Johnson who vacated the seat after he was elected to the U.S. Congressional 4th District in the November 2016 election.

Citizens who want to vote early may do so in person at their parish Registrar of Voters’ Office or at other designated locations. For a complete listing of early voting locations visit: https://voterportal.sos.la.gov/EarlyVoting.
