The El Karubah Shiners of Shreveport, in partnership with Tia’s Hope and Margaritaville Resort & Casino, are hosting their first annual Valentine’s Day dance for children with special needs this Saturday, February 13th at 6:00 p.m. at the El Karubah Shrine Temple on Cross Lake. The “Memories in the Moonlight” inaugural formal event is designed for children age 12 and up, and is open at no charge to children with special needs throughout the community. The event will feature a live DJ, dancing, games and food, all made possible by area businesses. A dedicated group of Shriners and volunteers will help to ensure that regardless of mobility or developmental conditions, children will enjoy a fun-filled event they won’t soon forget. Event is open to the media.
