BOSSIER CITY – Services for Elizabeth Ann Ebarb Brown, 78, will be 1:30 p.m. Monday, January 20, 2014 at Rose-Neath’s Bossier Chapel. Officiating will be Father John Thomas. Interment will follow at Centuries Memorial Cemetery, Shreveport, LA. Visitation will be Sunday, January 19, 2014 from 3 until 5 p.m., with a rosary at 4 p.m., at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City.
Elizabeth was born February 26, 1935 in Zwolle, LA and died January 16, 2014 in Shreveport, LA. She was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church. Elizabeth was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She loved and cared for her family.
Her husband, Vernon Brown, Sr.; parents, Joe Lewis Ebarb and Angline Malmay Ebarb; brother, Charlie Ebarb and sister, JoAnn Ebarb Colston preceded Elizabeth in death.
She is survived by her son, Vernon Brown, Jr.; daughters, Debbie McCannon, Linda Kay Dupont; grandchildren; Chris Ogden, Brittany Cooper, Rusty Smith, Danielle Stewart, Danielle Elizabeth Malone, Dakota Dupont and siblings, Ruby Isham, Louse Colston and Joseph Ebarb.
Honoring her as pallbearers are James Dupont, Edd McCannon, Zach Malone, Chris Ogden, Rusty Smith and Donald Sirmans.
