BENTON – Emily was born on December 18, 1988 in Shreveport, LA. The Angels rejoiced in Heaven as Emily Ann “Star” passed this life on February 2, 2014. Although our bright “Star” has faded on this earth, Emily Ann shines brilliantly in the mighty hands of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Emily was very passionate about art, music, animal welfare, and gardening.
Those left to cherish her memory are daughter Charley Marie Hill, mother Kay Pierce, father Dalton Gary, grandmother Myrtis “Nana” Hernandez, brothers John Michael, John David, Ryan, Randy, sisters Laura and Ronda. Also many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and very dear friends. Pallbearers will be Louie O’Quinn, Rick Satterfield, Derrick Hill, Lee Hedgepeth, Amanda Blackinton, Jennifer Nix. Honorary pallbearers Michael and Carliss Pierce and Bud Boyer.
Services will be held for our “Star” on Thursday February 6, 2014 at 11am at Countryside Christian Church Shreveport, LA. Bro. Ted Hardan will officiate. Visitation is Wed. 6-8pm at Aulds Funeral Home Shreveport, LA. Burial to follow at Rose Neath Cemetery, Bossier City, LA.
