A Bossier Sheriff’s Office fish fry made a huge catch by selling more than 500 plates, netting nearly $5,000 that will go to the Goldston family.
The two-day fundraiser was put on to help raise funds for Kim Goldston, kitchen supervisor at the BSO Corrections facilities. Kim’s husband, Antonio, suffered some major injuries in a car crash on Arthur Ray Teague Parkway back in September while taking his children to school, and he has not been able to work since then.
This fish fry was held to help defray some of their rising medical bills and a way deputies and staff of the Bossier Sheriff’s Office and the community to show their support.
The Goldston’s and Bossier Sheriff Julian Whittington would like to say THANK YOU to all who supported the fish fry that will help this family in their time of need.
