Four players from Bossier Parish schools have been named first-team All-District 1-5A.
Three made the girls first team — Airline’s Kei McCoy and Jasmyn Carswell and Haughton’s Mikayla Barber.
Parkway’s Brodrick Jefferson made the boys first team for the second straight year.
The All-District 1-5A teams were selected by the district’s coaches.
McCoy, a junior guard, led Airline in scoring at 13.2 points per game. She also averaged 3.1 steals.
Carswell, a senior forward who has signed with McNeese State, averaged 10.4 points and six rebounds.
Barber, a senior guard, averaged 10.5 points per game.
Airline and Haughton shared second place in the district behind champion Southwood.
Southwood’s Chelsea Tieuel was named MVP on the girls team. Other first-team selections were Southwood’s Michelle Parker and Byrd’s Alexis Dean.
Haughton’s Brittany Robinett, Ebone’ Green and Chelcy Swint all made the second team along with Airline’s Tasha Shiflett and Madison Rowland.
Parkway’s Chelsea Randle and Haughton’s Mattie McCoy were named honorable mention.
Jefferson, a senior guard, averaged 21 points per game. He is a Louisiana Tech football signee.
Captain Shreve senior Jesse McWright was named boys MVP. Other first-team selections were Byrd junior Chad Lott, Southwood junior Demetrius Hubbard and Captain Shreve sophomore Toronco Loston.
Airline’s KJ Bilbo and Haughton’s PJ Douglas were named to the second team.
Airline’s Noah Hildebrand and Larry Robinson; Haughton’s Javonte Woodard, Damien Sears and Jamarcia Banks; and Parkway’s Keondre Wudtee and Marquis King were all named honorable mention.
