BOSSIER CITY- Services for Fred Welshans, 68, will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel with Rev. Mike Green and Rev. Billy Pierce officiating. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home.
Fred was born on February 25, 1945 and went to be Lord on September 5, 2013 at his home in Bossier City. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Mary Welshans. Left to cherish his memory are sons, Fred Welshans Jr.(Calinda), and Jeff Welshans (Lisa); grandchildren, Freddie III, Deanna, Samuel and Gracelyn Welshans; sisters, Peggy Jefferies, Valerie Welshans, Annalee Hicks, and Kathy Fuchs; brother Bill Welshans (Betty).
