The school year is reaching the end for Bossier Parish Schools and the Gold Stars from the 2018-2019 school year were recognized Tuesday, May 7 with a special banquet at Hilton Garden Inn in Bossier City.
The Gold Stars are the employees of BPSB that were nominated and selected each month over the course of the year for the many ways they go above and beyond their job description on a daily basis.
Talented Arts Teacher Larry Pierson of Bossier Parish Schools led tonight’s jazz ensemble during a music special featuring Noah White, a student from Elm Grove Middle School.
Bossier Federal Credit Union has sponsored the Gold Star employee award program since its inception seven years ago. Thousands of nominations have been received and dozens of exemplary employees recognized as a result.
