Sun City Elementary celebrated “Back the Blue” day Sept. 29. An assembly was held that morning with School Resource Officer Steve Porter and several law enforcement officers representing the Bossier Sheriff’s Office, the Bossier City Police Department and Louisiana State Police. The law enforcement officers spoke about their jobs and how they keep everyone safe. Students, faculty and staff showed their support by wearing blue.

TSgt Jeremiah Smartt was a featured speaker as part of a group AirlineGuestSpeakerpresentation about Barksdale AFB.  He made this presentation to Airline High School students in Mrs. Finimore’s class.  Pictured with TSgt Smartt are group members Mackenzie Carringer, Lexi Smartt, Canerica Deldrage, and Gigi Marston.




AirlineSpeechAt Airline High School Linda Finimore’s Speech II class studied areas of technical theatre beginning with set design.  Students chose and created a depiction of a scene from a classic film. Pictured is Jenna Vance and Caitlin Canter presenting their Set Design Project to the Speech II class.
