Gary was born June 12, 1959 in Milwaukee, WI. He went to be with his Heavenly Father on October 21, 2013 in Shreveport, LA. He was a longtime member of Airline Church of Christ in Bossier City, LA., and also attended and was employed by University Church of Christ in Shreveport, LA. He had an over 30 year career in retail management, and relished the “customer service” aspect. Gary enjoyed spending time with his church family, playing and caring for many animal friends, and listening to and singing religious and other types of music. He loved watching and attending many sporting events, especially football, and was a longtime Saints fan. Gary was a gentle and kind soul, and was giving to all. Even in death, he chose to bean organ and tissue donor, and is a “hero” to many by giving the gift of life. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and many friends.

Gary’s family would like to thank all of his friends, the staff at Willis-Knighton Pierremont, and LOPA for their loving care and compassion shown to him and our family. We would ask that memorial gifts in lieu of flowers be sent to Bossier Kids, 2125 Airline Drive, Bossier City (318-741-1934).
