BOSSIER CITY – Services for Glen Lunsford, Jr. will be held at 2:30 p.m. Hill Crest Memorial Chapel on Friday, February 7, 2014. The family will be receiving friends from 2:00 p.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park.
Glen was born on May 18, 1956 and passed away on February 3, 2014. He was a member of APA pool leagues around the Shreveport/ Bossier area. He enjoyed golf, watching the Kentucky Wild Cats and the Atlanta Falcons. Glen owned and operated the Blue Moon BBQ for many years.
He was preceded in death by his mother Pauline Rodriquez and father Candido Rodriguez.
He is survived by his wife Brenda Lunsford, daughters Nicole Lunsford Mann and husband Chris, Amelia Lunsford and Stephen Cade, grandchildren Zoey Rae Mann, Adrienn and Kaitlyn Welling, brothers Johnny Ray Lunsford, Paul Lunsford and Erick Rodriguez, Aunt Rose and many nieces nephews and friends.
The family would like to thank all of Glen’s former employees and loyal customers for their support and friendship through the years.

BOSSIER CITY – Funeral services for Ms. Sonja Ashworth Riley, age 65, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, February 2, 2014 at the Plain Dealing Assembly of God Church with Bro. Corbett Berthelot officiating. Burial will be in the Plain Dealing Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Plain Dealing, LA
Visitation will be held Saturday, 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Bailey Funeral Home, Plain Dealing, LA.
Ms. Riley was born on September 19, 1948 to James Alfred and Maxie Juanita High Ashworth in Terrell, TX and passed away on Friday, January 31, 2014 in Bossier City, LA. She was a lifelong resident of this area and was a member of the Assembly of God church. She was employed as a bookkeeper for Morris Roberson/Caddo Farmer’s Gin and was a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her two daughters, Natalie Green of W. Monroe, LA; Lia Gray and her husband, Richard of Benton, LA; sister, Kay Thomas and husband, Clyde of Shreveport, LA; brothers, Rickey Ashworth and wife, Melba; James Ashworth and wife, Peggy, all of Plain Dealing, LA; grandchildren, Dillon Pourteau, Triston Matlock, Lexi Gray, Peyton Todd and Parker Todd.
Serving as pallbearers will be Dillon Pourteau, Triston Matlock, Barry Matlock, Tony Matlock, Randy Matlock and Charles Thomas.
