Bossier City’s Carter Jurkovich finished tied for third last week in the Trophy Club Back To School Classic at the Trophy Club Country Club in the Dallas-Forth Worth area.
The tournament is part of the Texas Junior Golf tour.
Jurkovich shot a 3-over 74-73—147 in the two-day event, tying with Nicholas Necessary of Lewisville, Texas.
Lawson Garner of McKinney, Texas, won with a 5-under 66-73—139. Logan Zurn of Grapevine was second with a 1-over 72-73—145.
Jurkovich also placed third in the Prestonwood Junior Classic in July.
