‘Good Guys’ win the Office Olympics

“The Good Guys #2” represented by the DA’s office for the 26th Judicial District (Bossier/Webster Parishes) won the Office Olympics held earlier this month at the Horseshoe Riverdome in Bossier City.

On Friday, Oct. 4, 65 Teams of four office workers from all over the Ark-La-Tex, came together to “play” in the Office Olympics. This community event which spotlighted “the employee” & increased workplace morale and spirit.

DA Schuyler Marvin said, “He was glad to see the competitive spirit of his staff, and to be part of a fundraising effort to improve the quality of life for children at St. Jude Hospital and their families.”

Teams played five fun, crazy games like The Office Chair Roll-off with a Twist, The Human Post-it-Note, The Dress for Success Relay, The Office Challenge & The Mystery Event. Hundreds of spectators filled the Riverdome watching all the fun for free!

Teams bringing home titles were: “The Good Guys #2” – The Winning Office Olympics Team”The McAlister’s Tea Freaks” – 1st place team, “The Holster Girls” from the Probation & Parole Dept – 2nd place team & “The Action Snowflakes” the 3rd place team. All 4 teams shared a $1,000 cash prize.

The Official Charity of Office Olympics this year was St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital which received a $1,000 check.
