BATON ROUGE — Today, Governor Edwards has issued a proclamation declaring a state of emergency in the following parishes affected by the severe weather today:

Acadia
Bienville
Bossier
Caddo
Claiborne
Desoto
East Carroll
Grant
Lincoln
Morehouse
Ouachita
Red River
Richland
Union
Webster
West Carroll
