BATON ROUGE – Louisiana Governor-elect John Bel Edwards today launched OnwardLouisiana.com to provide Louisiana residents updates about his administration’s transition and also to serve a contact point for people to express interest in serving in his administration.
“It’s time to put action behind the great sense of hope the people of our state have,” Gov.-elect Edwards said. “But that’s not something that I can do alone. Our team must assemble a group of the hardest working public servants to lead Louisiana through many critical challenges and onward to the future we deserve.”

“No matter your party affiliation, if you love Louisiana and you’re interested in working in our administration, we want to hear from you. We have created a tool where prospective government employees can submit their resumes to indicate interest in serving in senior level positions, including as the leaders of state agencies,” Edwards said. “The sooner we hear from you, the better.”
Visitors to the site can fill out a form to indicate interest in serving in the Edwards administration on OnwardLouisiana.com. This feature will help the Transition Team learn about those who would like to serve, though additional application steps may be required.
The site also features a newsletter sign-up form and news archive so visitors can track key announcements from the Transition Team leading up to Gov.-elect Edwards’ inauguration on January 11, 2016.
