Sergeant Daryl Brown of the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Department hugs his son Caleb after the Haughton All-Stars qualified for the Dixie 7-8 Machine Pitch World Series last weekend in Ville Platte. It was an emotional moment for the Browns and other parents and players on the Haughton team. Caleb’s grandfather, Robert W. “Bebop” Brown Sr., passed away a few months ago.
