A Haughton man has been arrested for having sexual contact with a 16-year-old girl.
Matthew A. Newton, 26, of the 600 block of Haughton Trace Ct. in Haughton, was arrested Thursday evening and charged with indecent behavior with a juvenile and computer-aided solicitation of a minor. Newton had inappropriate sexual communication through social media and sexual contact with the teen girl over the past four months.
He was transported to the Bossier Maximum Security Facility where he faces a bond of $150,000.
