Haughton running back Jarred Craft has verbally committed to sign with Louisiana Tech.

The 6-foot, 200-pound Craft, who will be a senior this fall, rec-eived the offer from Tech after participating in a camp at the school last Saturday.

Craft was a first-team All-Parish and All-District selection last season. He rushed for 886 yards and scored 11 touchdowns in the regular season.

In 2011, he rushed for almost 500 yards in the regular season and was named second-team All-District.

In 2010, Craft and his twin brother, Jerrod, helped Haughton’s freshmen team go undefeated.

Jerrod is a two-time All-District selection at defensive back.

The Crafts’ older brother, Jordan, is a wide receiver at McNeese State. Jarred Craft also received an offer from McNeese.
