Haughton and Princeton area, on Felony Theft charges.

In February, the Bossier Sheriff’s Office and Haughton Police Department received multiple complaints from various victims who reported their four wheelers were stolen from their residences in the Princeton and Haughton area. In all, two four wheelers and a go kart were stolen from the Princeton area, one four wheeler was stolen from the Haughton area and one four wheeler was stolen from inside the city limits of Haughton. Each of the stolen vehicles had keys in the ignition.

The stolen ATV’s and go kart were recovered from a nearby wooded area and returned back to their owners.

“We want to remind teens they can’t just take things that belong to others without their permission,” said Sheriff Whittington. “People work hard for what they have. There is a price to pay when you steal, and thieves will face criminal charges.”
