High school baseball: Bossier sweeps doubleheader


The Bossier Bearkats swept Red River in a home doubleheader Monday, winning the first game 17-5 and the second 17-3.

Both games went five innings.

Omar Green had a double and three RBI in Game 1. Jonathan Kellogg went 2-for-3. Kaleb Ortega was the winning pitcher.

Durrell May went 3-for-3 with three RBI in Game 2. Pitcher Devin Snipes had two hits and three RBI. Ortega was 2-for2.

The Bearkats improved to 7-8.
