Haughton senior Christian Turner and Benton senior Thomas Allen earned individual honors on the Louisiana Baseball Coaches Association All-Region I team.
Turner was named Hitter of the Year. Allen was named Pitcher of the Year.
The All-Region I team includes players from Northwest Louisiana in all classes. The players selected were nominated by their coaches.
Turner, an Arkansas signee, batted .405 with 12 doubles, eight triples, five home runs and 32 RBI.
Allen, a Northwestern State signee, was 9-3 with an ERA of 1.36. He had 90 strikeouts in 66 2/3 innings.
Benton senior pitcher Kade Bryant, senior pitcher Tanner Webb, junior infielders Cole Snell and Case Jorden, and senior outfielder Jackson Jones were also named to the team along with Parkway senior Abel Thetford.
Bryant, a Northwestern State signee, was 9-1 with a 1.63 ERA. He had 54 strikeouts in 51 2/3 innings. Bryant also batted .357 with four doubles and 27 RBI. He also stole 16 bases in 19 attempts.
Webb was 9-1 with a 1.60 ERA. He had 63 strikeouts in 48 innings.
Snell batted .468 with 12 doubles, seven triples, two home runs and 57 RBI. He also stole 30 bases in 32 attempts.
Jorden batted .374 with 12 doubles, three triples, two home runs and 27 RBI.
Jones, a Louisiana Tech signee, batted .421 with nine doubles, seven triples and 41 RBI.
Thetford, a pitcher and shortstop who signed with New Orleans, batted .411 with 12 doubles, one home run and 21 RBI. He was 3-3 with a 3.40 and 44 strikeouts in 35 innings.
