Airline swept Northwood in boys and girls high school basketball season openers Monday night at Airline.
The Vikings won 66-50, and the Lady Vikings won 62-33.
KJ Bilbo led the Vikings with 14 points. Louis Greenard added 12 and Trace Parker 10.
The Vikings got off to a good start, leading 19-11 after one quarter and 35-23 at the half.
Traciona Russell paced the Lady Vikings with 12 points and Makayla Bendaw added nine.
Airline led 18-14 after the first quarter and cruised to the victory.
In season openers Tuesday night, Benton hosts Haughton in boys and girls games. Bossier hosts Captain Shreve in a girls game only.
Airline’s boys and girls teams return to action Thursday with home games against Benton.
