Trista Quinley came within five pins of a 700 series and two of her teammates bowled 200-plus games as the Airline girls team picked up another win Thursday in high school bowling action at Holiday Lanes.
Quinley bowled a 695 series including a high game of 257 in a 24-3 victory over Bossier. Jayda Ellison had a high game of 224 and Paris Mendones bowled a 202.
Airline improved to 8-0.
Mackensy Metts led Bossier with a 296 series.
In other girls matches involving parish teams, Benton defeated Loyola 17-10 and Parkway downed Byrd 19-8.
Caitlin Lawrence led Benton with a 578 series including a 207 game. Ariana Nakaya and Alexa Guajardo had high games of 136 and 129, respectively.
Rachel Cao led Parkway with a 393 series and 175 game. Aysia Evans bowled a 382 series and Bailee Elliott had a 339.
In boys matches, Benton defeated Minden 27-0 (forfeit), Loyola downed Bossier 24.5-2.5 and Byrd defeated Parkway 24-3.
Jacob Gafnea led Benton with a 555 series including a 201 game. Zach Roden had a 173 high game and Ben Miller bowled a 167.
Channing Kelly led Bossier with a 344 series and 129 game. Moses Thomas had a 128 high game and Wali Muntaqim bowled a 124.
Zach Posey and Brayden Haddock led Parkway with 456 series. Posey had the team’s high game of 181. Haddock bowled a 172 and Jacob Turner a 143.
