Parkway swept Airline in boys and girls high school bowling action Monday at Holiday Lanes.
Parkway won both matches by identical 22-5 scores.
The Panthers improved to 9-0 overall and 5-0 in District 1. The Lady Panthers improved to 10-0.
In other boys matches, Haughton dropped Byrd 24-3, Benton edged Loyola 14-13 and Minden downed Bossier 23-4.
Haughton improved to 5-4 overall and 2-3 in District 1. Benton improved to 7-2 overall and 5-0 in District 2. The Tigers lead Loyola by two games.
Parkway’s Chandler Sumpter bowled the best series of the season so far with a 728 (268-258-202). Ladarius Williamson bowled a 667 series (210-235-202). James Benjamin had a 211 high game.
Tanner Talmadge led Airline (7-2, 3-2)with a 206 high game and 571 series. Brian Fielding bowling a 195 high game and Dominic Rivers had a 184.
Austin Sepeda paced Benton with a 192 high game and 513 series. John Norris bowled a 184 and Caitlin Lawrence a 174.
Katie Black led the Parkway girls with a 190 high game and 519 series. Nicole Taylor had a 180 high game and Pearl Merry a 167.
Trista Quinley topped Airline (7-3) with a 224 high game and 548 series. Madison Raab bowled a 155 and Courtney Riede a 130.
Eric Clark led the Bossier boys with a 135 high game. Nick Thomas had a 134 and Chris Whisnant a 130. Whisnant had the Bearkats’ high series of 363.
