High school boys basketball: Bossier, Plain Dealing seek quarterfinal berths

The Bossier Bearkats and Plain Dealing Lions aim for quarterfinal berths as the playoffs continue Tuesday night with second-round games.

In Class 3A, No. 2 seed Bossier (25-7) hosts No. 15 Richwood (15-15) at 6.

In Class 1A, No. 22 Plain Dealing (5-19) visits No. 6 White Castle (16-12) at 7.

Bossier routed No. 31 Green Oaks 89-20 in the first round. Richwood defeated Jennings 73-66.

Richwood finished second to Wossman in District 2-3A with a 5-3 mark.

Plain Dealing upset No. 11 Block 56-52 in the first round. White Castle received a first-round bye.

White Castle shared the District 7-1A championship with East Iberville. The Bulldogs closed the regular season with seven straight victories.
