High school cross country: Parkway boys win Mississippi College Watson Ford Invitational

Parkway won the Division I boys title in the Mississippi College Watson Ford Invitational cross country meet Saturday in Clinton, Miss.

The Panthers scored 53 points to 104 for runner-up Fontainebleau. Twenty-two boys teams and 304 runners competed.

All five Parkway athletes in the scoring finished in the top 22. Cole Billiot led the way with a sixth-place finish, covering the 5K course in 16 minutes, 50.16 seconds. Adam Wise of Fontainebleau won in 15:59.24.

Parkway’s Tyler Kruithof was ninth in 17:04.74, Andrew Robinson 14th in 17:16.90, Austin Jacobsen 21st in 17:35.69 and Clayton Wood 22nd in 17:37.82.
