High school football: Six parish players earn spots on coaches’ All-State teams

Six Bossier Parish players earned spots on the Louisiana Football Coaches Association All-State teams.

Bossier senior Decamerion Richardson, a Mississippi State signee, made the Class 3A first team at defensive back. Richardson was also an outstanding running back.

Airline senior receiver Daniel Smith and Haughton senior tight end Matthew Whitten, a Southern Arkansas signee, made the Class 5A second team.

Airline junior quarterback Alex Garcia and Haughton senior defensive lineman Khaylon Chapple, a McNeese State signee, were named Class 5A honorable mention. Garcia and Chapple were the Offensive and Defensive MVPs, respectively, on the All-Parish team.

Bossier senior running back/defensive back James Davis, a East Texas Baptist signee, was named Class 3A honorable mention.
